Build with clear expectations.

A practical guide to what works in the NODERA demo, what is simulated, and how a future integration might look.

What is NODERA?

NODERA is a product demo for discovering intelligent API capabilities, trying local utilities, and understanding a possible pay-per-request future. The current application does not provide a production API gateway.

How the marketplace works

The catalog includes eight example listings. Six utilities execute locally; two advanced examples use fixed fixtures. Built-in provider names are fictional. Your own draft listings stay in your browser profile.

Using the Playground

Choose a service, edit its sample input, and select Execute request. The result, validation errors, processing time, response size, and recent history appear immediately. Copy or download the JSON response. Inputs are limited to 12,000 characters.

How demo execution works

JSON parsing, text measures, field extraction, text cleanup, word frequency, and strict invoice text parsing run deterministic JavaScript in the browser. Invoice parsing is not OCR. Advanced examples return fixed fixtures; no third-party AI model is called.

Understanding x402 and HTTP 402

HTTP 402 Payment Required is a status code used to communicate that payment is needed. In an x402-style flow, a server can describe payment requirements and a client can respond with authorization. NODERA's simulator uses mock payloads and local state only; it performs no wallet signature or transfer.

Current limitations

There is no cloud account, external provider execution, real payment, wallet connection, deployed contract, or decentralized network. Local activity and provider drafts are browser-specific and may disappear when browser data is cleared.

Planned direction

Possible future work includes production provider onboarding, verified service quality data, x402-compatible access, stablecoin settlement, dispute mechanisms, and agent workflows. These are concepts, not active services.

Example developer request

The route below is a conceptual future interface, not a callable endpoint in this demo. Use the Playground to execute local tools.
